The
Partnership is composed of 9 Institutions among them regional and local authorities
and development agencies:
SIPRO
Agenzia per lo Sviluppo – Ferrara (I) is the project lead
partner.
SIPRO is the County Board for Local Development, it’s
mission is the economic development of the territory through
real estate activity (included the planning and the building
of infrastructures for the economic development), the improvement
of the cooperation among institutions and enterprises, the
management of the business incubators’ network, the
economic promotion and territorial marketing. Founded in
1975, SIPRO can boast a broad experience of this territory,
have the services of a professional staff and a network
of specialized external experts.
EuroBic
Toscana Sud – Siena (I) is a the training and Development
agency, its main task is to foster the economic development and the employment
in the Province of Siena. It is part of the European BIC network (EBN), which
assures the quality of the facilities offered to the SMEs and answers to the
needs of the local area. Eurobic Toscana Sud promotes local territory by exploiting
available resources and opportunities offered by the area through the creation
of new enterprises and the strengthening of the ones already existent.
Provincia
di Ferrara – Ferrara (I): The Province has got a large
set of competences in various fields such as environmental authorizations,
energy, wastes, water and air protection, transport, agriculture, fishing,
tourism, SMEs support. The Province is also in charge of the management of
regional, local and European funds granted to local public bodies and SMEs
operating in all sectors. Moreover the Province fulfils to economic and promotional
activities and manages the economic programming in partnership with local
authorities, economic associations, trade unions, municipalities, local development
agency, social bodies and environmental agencies. One of the main feature
about which the Province is very thoughtful is the effort to foster the economic
development of the county with a sustainable approach.
Udaras na Gaeltachta –
Gaillimhe (IE) Údarás na Gaeltachta is a Regional Development
Agency in Ireland with responsibility for the economic, social and cultural
development of the Gaeltacht regions, ensuring the continuation of the Irish
language as the spoken language of the community in these regions. The Gaeltacht's
success in attracting mobile international investment is due to the financial
and tax incentives on offer in a modern infrastructural setting. The best
of what is available to industry can be found among Ireland's most beautiful
scenery. It is an excellent location for anyone searching for an ideal environment
in which to work and play.
Ajuntament
de Granollers – Granollers (ES): Granollers, the capital
of Vallés Oriental region, is an economically equilibrated city whose
economic activities are evenly divided between diverse industries and a service
sector which has one of its principal expressions in quality commerce. In
the last years the city council is carrying on some projects specifically
devoted to foster the competitiveness of local SMEs. One of the main aspects
of these projects is connected with the effort of reconverting industrial
areas and create an offer of new generation industrial areas.
Ayuntamiento de Ciudad Real
– Ciudad Real (ES): the Town Council of Ciudad Real, through its Councillorship
for employment and economic promotion, has set up different projects in the
fields of economic development, employment and environmental policy. The most
relevant
projects achieved in the last five years, most of them through
European funds, are
connected with Employment, NICTs, Training, technological
parks and the development of SMEs competitiveness. One of
the aims of the Councillorship for Employment and Economic
Promotion is to increase the cooperation and the exchange
of experiences with other European regions, thanks to the
projects promoted and the new economic scene characterizing
the region".
Diputation
de Granada - Granada (ES): It is an institution with vast experience in co-ordinating numerous business initiatives at provincial level. The Metropolitan Area and Spatial Programmes Department; this is the specialised instrument with which the Diputación de Granada collaborates to consolidate local development in the province. In this context, it offers services in the following sectors: NICT and SMEs, European programmes, information service for the Municipalities of the Province, advice about business projects, training and employment programmes.
Fundacion
Ferrol Metropoli –Ferrol (ES): is a Foundation for the
socioeconomic development of Ferrol area with the ultimate intention of involving
the public institutions and the businesses by means of a common project-a
metropolis based on strategic planning. The activities are: Strategic planning,
Information and promotion for business, research studies, external promotion
of the metropolitan area, organisation of conferences and events, promotion
of the cooperation between the private and public sectors.

Regionàlis Fejlesztèsi Ugynoksèg Kht –
Pecs (HU): The South-Transdanubian Regional Development Agency was founded
in July 1998 as a working body for the South-Transdanubian Regional Development
Council. The Agency has three offices in the 3 largest cities of the region
(Pécs, Kaposvár, Szekszárd). Besides acting as a work
organisation agent for the Regional Development Council, the Agency also performs
important economic development and organisational tasks, as well as takes
a leading role in promoting regionalisation and preparation for access to
the EU. Its role also includes the regional co-ordination of grass-roots processes
of national planning.
